3. Now, select Pin. You can then select the option that alerts participant(s) of the chat that the message is pinned or not.
4. Next, tap PIN again to confirm your action.
When you do all that, your message will be up at the top of the chat. It you don’t want it there anymore, simply tap the X icon and then select Unpin.
How to Edit Sent Messages in Telegram
Telegram is one of those few apps that allows you to edit messages even after you have sent them. This can prove very useful in a case when your message has an error or you want to reframe your point. Here’s how to edit messages on Telegram.
1. Launch Telegram.
2. Next, navigate to the conversation which you wish to edit.
3. Next, tap and hold on the chat.
4. When you have done that, select the edit icon which is denoted by a pencil icon. You’ll see this from the pop-up box.
5. Edit the messages and then hit the Checkmark icon which will save the edit.
The message will be edited and everyone will know as there will be a pencil message to show that it has been edited.
Reply to Messages from Your Home Screen in Telegram
You’ll have notice with other messaging apps that you can reply messages from the notifications screen. You can also do same on Telegram. Here’s how to set it up:
1. Launch Telegram and select Settings. The setup process can only be done on the Settings page.
2. Select Notifications and Sounds.
3. Next, enable Notifications for Chats
When you set it up like this, you will start to see notifications from Telegram on your home screen.
