I have tried with many different videos and subtitle
Will check back and provide a reply
How do you save the sync settings?
It cannot be saved using Daum PotPlayer, you will require a video editor or subtitle editor for this.
Thanks guys I was able to fix sync issue.
Thanks to you guys.
I used two subtitles when watching my videos:
-In french in the bottom for my girlfriend
-In English on top for me
But when one subtitle isn’t sync, I can’t resync this one only, it resync both.
Is there a solution to resync only the 1st or 2nd subtitle only without the other?
Please I haven’t found a way to sync both subtitle, What I will advise for you to cycle the subtitle, that is
Subtitle one can be sync and then you cycle it to subtitle two, cycle subtitle two to subtitle one and then also sync it.
Hope You get this
thanks for your help, but what do you mean by cycling please?
Right Click on Potplayer window, Click on Subtitles (if you have added two subtitles), you will an option to cycle the subtitle, The shortcut Alt + L
It is no use. i have clicked the 2nd subtitle to sync faster 5seconds, the first subtitle will be synced faster 5 seconds also.
Okay, that’s great. Thanks
Just load 1st subtitles, shift them so they will be synchronised with audio, check the exact shift number in seconds how much did you shift them (e.g. -7.5 sec), load them into some easy to use online tool like subshifter, use your shiftnumber (use correct +/- sign), save it and replace your old not-in-sync subtitles, repeat with 2nd subtitles if necessary. Bonus – solution is permanent for futur re-watch of the movie.
Thanks for the great tip.
