How to increase the volume of the MX Player to up to 200% (200 percent). Increase volume to up to 200 or 200 percent
This tutorial will assist you to increase the Volume ofthe MX Player to 200 % (200 percent). This is usually useful if you have a video with poor audio quality.
Disclaimer: Increasing the volume of the MX Player to maximum might affect the speaker of your phone
1) Launch MX Player.
2) Touch the screen of the player, on the upper right corner, you will see a three dotted line, Click on it (Where the orange box is).
3) A drop down menu will open, Click on Tools
4) A drop down menu will open, Scroll down and click on Settings
5) The settings page will open, click on Audio
NOTE: In order for volume boost to work, you have to change your decoder from HW decoder to either HW+ decoder or SW Decoder
To Change the decoder, touch the MX Player Screen and on the top right hand corner, you will see HW, touch it and select either HW+ Decoder or SW Decoder.
This is actually useful with video with low quality sound or audio.
