- Open the Instagram app.
- Next tap your profile photo which you will see at the bottom-right.
- After that, tap the hamburger icon beside your username.
- Navigate “Your Activity” > “Photos and Videos” > “Posts”.
- Tap the “Select” option at the top right. Select the posts you wish to archive.
- Now hit “Archive” which you will see at the bottom-left corner. Then confirm your decision.

You can also batch-archive your Instagram post if you are using an iPhone. Here’s how:
- Launch the Instagram app.
- Next, tap your profile photo at the bottom-right corner.
- After, tap the menu icon at the top-right.
- After that, select “Your Activity”.
- Select “Photos and Videos” then select “Posts”.
- Browse through the posts, and then press and hold your finger to select the posts you wish to archive.
- After selecting all posts, then hit “Archive” in the bottom-left corner.. after that confirm your decision to archive the posts.
Can You Batch Archive Instagram Posts on Computers?
There’s no option to batch archive Instagram posts on the desktop version of Instagram. You can only do it on the mobile app.
How to Archive a Single Instagram Post
There are actually two ways to archive a single IG post, and you can do it on both the Android and the iOS app.
Archive Single Instagram Post on Android
Method 1
You can archive your posts directly from your feed. Here’s how:
- Launch the Instagram app
- Tap your profile photo at the bottom-right.
- Next, move through your feed, and locate the post you want to archive.
- Select the post, and tap the three dots.
- Next, hit “Archive”.
Method 2
You can archive a single Instagram post by going to “Your Activity”. Here’s how:
- Tap your profile photo to go to your profile.
- Next, select “Your Activity”. Then tap “Photos and Videos”.
- After that, select “Posts”.
- Select the post you wish to archive. Now, press and hold it to select it
- After that, hit “Archive”.
- Instagram will ask you to confirm your decision. Select “Archive” to finalise the process.
