This is TOTAL bullshit. You can add, delete and change names on the list BUT MAXTHON STILL REFUSES TO SET DUCKDUCK GO directly. In order to use duckduckgo – the ONLY way to use duckduckgo on Maxthon – you have to bring it up on the search engine, then click on it and go through the back door. Now you’re on duckduckgo (secondarily) BUT NOT DIRECTLY. Presumably Maxthon will still allow Google to manipulate and censor the listings even though you’re now using Duckduckgo. Google has it’s way with Maxthon. Even though you are not being tracked on Duckduckgo by duckduckgo MAXTHON IS NOW TRACKING YOUR USAGE AND SEARCH HISTORY ON MAXTHON. WTH? WTH?WTH? WTH? If you don’t have a solution as to how to force Maxthon to accept duckduckgo – AND ALLOW IT’S USE – as the default search engine then take this meaningless, out of date “solution” down.
Thanks
